The Clean Fairies takes a thorough quality driven approach to each cleaning that we do. Our regular cleaning service items are listed below. We also provide special services for 1st time cleanings, homes for sale, move in/move out and for special occasions. General services are scheduled weekly, bi-weekly and monthly.

  • Deluxe First Time Cleanings

    Everything involved in a regular clean, plus . . .

    • Ceiling fan blades hand washed or wiped
    • Light fixtures are hand washed in place (not removed)
    • Blinds are hand washed (blinds must be sturdy enough to withstand being wiped clean by hand)
    • Moldings, woodwork, window sills & locked edges hand washed or wiped
    • All doors are hand washed
    • Baseboards hand washed or wiped (as long as reachable without moving furniture)
    • Pictures and knick-knacks hand wiped
    • Living room furniture dusted, vacuumed and wiped (fronts, sides & legs)
    • Top of refrigerator hand washed or wiped (for empty houses we clean where the appliances stood)
    • Front of all cabinets washed down
    • Light switch plates washed
    • All build up removed from tubs and showers (as much a possible)
    • Stairs cleaned
    • Closet shelves wiped down
    • Floors cleaned (if empty)

  • How do we do estimates over the phone and by email?

    Estimates are estimates only. Cleaning may take more or less time than quoted. You will be charged for the time it takes to clean, at our hourly rate. If you have a maximum price, simply let us know and we will stop cleaning when the time is up. We have served thousands of appointments since 2012 and our ability to provide accurate email and phone estimates allows us to set each customer’s expectation in advance of their scheduled appointment so there are no surprises. Our estimates are based off of the information submitted to us as compared to our current customers with similar homes in your neighborhood.

    Please note: these are blind estimates; we have not seen your residence and are using the information you have provided us in order to generate an estimate which does include information about various factors that could affect your price.

    When we arrive for a scheduled appointment we will evaluate your home and provide you with feedback and an opportunity to voice any concerns you may have regarding the duties to be performed and their corresponding prices. An estimate is simply that: an estimate. If we require more time and your appointment will cost more than quoted, then we will contact you to get your authorization. If you have a limit for the amount you'd like to spend, we will NOT exceed it.

    For example, if you'd only like to spend $300 on your cleaning, we will stay for 4 hours. 4 hours x $75 = $300 . If we have quoted you 4 hours of cleaning and require 6 hours, we will ask you if that's okay, and you will pay for 6 hours, not 4. If you'd like us to stop at 4 hours, then we will. However, our guarantee will not apply to any services where our time is limited. If we need 6 hours to clean, then we must be given the full time we need. Often, clients change the scope of the work involved by adding on other tasks or rooms post-estimate, and these changes will increase the time we need. If you need additional work done, please ensure you increase the time of your appointment prior, as the team can't stay longer than the amount of time you have booked.

  • What will The Clean Fairies do in my home?

    Never used a home cleaning before, not too worry! The clean fairies is built on convenience. Our mission and promise to you is to get your home sparkling clean in a quick and efficient manner. Our cleaning services include dusting of baseboards, pictures, lampshades, window sills, furniture, light fixtures and vacuuming throughout. walls are spot cleaned, cupboard fronts and floors washed and the kitchen and bathrooms are thoroughly detailed. Look at our service page and you will see what is included in our initial deluxe clean and our regular (recurring) cleanings.

  • Do I need to provide any supplies or equipment?

    Nope. Unless you have specific needs or requests we would be more than happy to accommodate you.

  • How do I pay for the service?

    Simple... easy.. We accept all major credit cards via phone, in person or on our website. we also take checks, or cash the day of service.

  • How do I book a time for my cleaning?

    When you “Book a cleaning” on our website, one of the steps you will be prompted to do is select the time which works best for you. You're given main options and all that’s left is to pick the time slot which is most convenient for you! if that time slot is not available we will give you a call to let you know what available spots we have available if your desired spot is already booked. But we will try our best to accommodate your needs and your time request!

  • Who will clean my home?

    The Clean Fairies was built with privacy and security at its core. It’s very important for us to ensure that every cleaning experience is top notch. All our service providers are pre screened by the clean fairies to ensure the highest quality of customer satisfaction. Bottom line- our service providers are friendly, trustworthy experts who always do a great job.

  • Recurring appointments?

    While we aim to send the same team to your home each time, we may send a different team or one of the two Clean Fairies Cleaners may be different due to staff illness, vacations, or scheduling conflicts. At times we may also need to reschedule your appointment, though we do everything we can in the event of a staff shortage to minimize disruptions, we do ask for your patience and flexibility. Unlike the majority of maid services, we do NOT hire subcontractors from temp agencies. We are a small business with a handful of staff who we carefully screen and train and we do not believe in sending strangers off the streets into our clients' homes simply to avoid rescheduling your service. If we cannot send a different team, we will notify you as soon as possible and will work with you to reschedule your appointment at your earliest convenience.

  • How much does it cost?

    Price quotes are given during the booking, Depending on the hours you selected and the size of your home. Price quotes are just a quote not the final price, depending on size, dirt scare and pets in the home. Just let us now how many Bedrooms and bathrooms are in the home and we’ll give you the best possible rate possible. One-time, occasional or first-time cleanings are charged at an hourly rate depending on a two person team or a three person team. A 2-hour minimum charge is applied to all services. Clients who book weekly, bi-weekly or monthly service quality for discounted rates.

  • Do I have to be home during my cleaning?

    Ultimately the answer is no. But that’s really your call to make! Whatever is most convenient for you works with us. Our service providers are trustworthy and honorable. If you are not going to be home, just let us know where you leave the key when you book your appointment.

  • Who has access to the keys to my home?

    In the event that you are not home during your scheduled cleaning. Only the service providers dedicated to your personal home will handle your keys, they will also follow any specific instructions left by you in that respect. To leave it back in your hide-a-place, bring it with us for future use, in that case it will be tagged with your first name only and no address, and put in our key lock box.

  • Who do I contact if I want something extra done or if I want to change or cancel my cleaning?

    First off! Not to worry our goal is to make things as convenient for you as possible. Please contact us at alex@thecleanfairies.com or call our office at 562-810-3246. if you need something extra done or cancel your cleaning.   • What if something gets broken when my home is cleaned?

    While we’d love to say that this will never happen thats simply isn’t realistic, accidents do happen... but the chances are slim. Should an accident or breakage occurs while we are in your home, we will contact you as soon as possible and we will make every effort to have the item repaired or replaced if it cannot be repaired.

  • How should I prepare My home for cleaning?

    Smaller items should be picked up off the floor and dressers, counters should be somewhat organized before we arrive in order to allow the cleaning staff to clean more thoroughly. Also, please secure sentimental items, cash, jewelry and other small valuables. If for some reason you do not want a particular room cleaned, please just leave a note or close the door of that particular room.

  • About Employee safety?

    We are committed to staff safety, and require our employees to refrain from climbing ladders higher than 30 inches or lift or move objects weighing more than 20 pounds. Our staff cannot clean bodily fluids, pet accidents or any other substance or item which may pose a health or safety hazard to our employees. We reserve the right to remove an employee from a job site at any time if his or her safety is of concern.

  • How can I get a receipt for my cleaning?

    If you would like a Receipt it will be emailed to the address listed in your client profile once your payment has been submitted by your Clean Fairies cleaner and processed by accounting. This may take up to one week. If you require a receipt sooner, please email alex@thecleanfairies.com and we will be happy to send it out faster.

  • I need to change my booking date, what should I do, is there a fee for that?

    Canceling a booking is easy! just email us at alex@thecleanfairies.com or contact us at 562-810-3246 *****Important canceling within 48 hours of your booking will generate a cancelation fee this is done by contacting us!

  • If I cancel less than 48 hours before my booking, what happens?

    If it is necessary to cancel your appointment, please notify The Clean Fairies office by email at alex@thecleanfaireis.com a minimum of 48 hours before the appointment start time. If we receive less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged the 50% of your cleaning price.

    As a recurring client, all lock outs are subject to a minimum $50 service charge, though we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the appointment. This is to help cover our staff's mileage, wages and travel costs as well as the wasted appointment.
